This year we’ll have 2 Quatro/Goya riders competing at Capo del Capo.
That’s for sure the most important italian windsurf wave competition and it’s held in Sardinia, Capo Mannu, one of the most beautiful and demanding spot in Italy and maybe in all the mediterranean sea. It’s an invitational, with just 16 riders selected by the organizations and the waiting period is pretty long (all may-beginning of june), in order to be sure to find really good conditions. That’s the website of the event: https://www.capodelcapo.com/?page_id=635
and here you can see some pics of past editions: https://www.flickr.com/photos/nadiaguida/sets/72157620256523448/with/3655155220/
Our athletes are Gabriele Serra from Sardinia and another young guy, Federico Infantino.

Windsurfing in Quilmes, south of Buenos Aires, we got together with a bunch of friends. The wind was pretty light but got stronger tours the evening. There were two 12 year old kids, one from Chascomus(Juan) that I sailed with and the other one(Martin) was recovering from a skate injury that would have gone out otherwise. We had a great time and we rode until we couldn’t see.Looks like the wind will continue blowing so maybe North of BA, will see.

“Whenever the forecast looks promising, I try to go to Northern Denmark to score some epic conditions. During the PWA in Klittmöller, this was the case. My new board (Goya One 72l) arrived the week before and I finally wanted to test it. And because my new sails were still on the way to Germany, Lalo borrowed my one of his sails (Eclipse 3.7). Thank you for this!
I was stoked! Even if the 72l might have seemed to big for a girl like me in such conditions, it was easy to drive, easy to jump and it showed an excellent performance in the wave. I scored a really good day in Klittmöller with over masthigh sets on Friday and two great days in Hanstholm. The pictures were taken by Tom Kästner and Claudius Hofbauer.
Caro”
Tiree didnt’ get that much wind and Ben Proffit took care of the podcast! Check Lalo’s appearance there talking about his new move to Europe..
