Every year when comes the Photoshoot time, we are excited to discover the fresh new pics. And each time there is those pics that blow our minds away…We know right there that these will end up on a cover or a double spread. Why? Because there is more to it then just the action, the gear or the rider. They capture the essence of windsurfing and can get anyone excited to go on the water. Working with Francky (Berthuot Visuals) defently helps and he has devoted his shooting to capture that picture.

The first covers we are seeing are the ones with the one handed signature goiter of Brawzinho. He nails them as some other jibe, and it for sure deserved to be a cover(s) shot! Looking forward to sharing more with you.

Enjoy your day in the water!

I just recently stumbled across an old email from Regis Bouron on his spring action in LaTorche. Here’s what he said:

Hey, better late than never. Any pics of great conditions with the sport we love is worth the delay.

This morning here on Lake Garda I had the chance to use the Goya Banzai and Air 99.
The conditions were not the best, very gusty wind, but better than nothing! :-))
The sail was perfectly balanced and lightweight for freestyle.

Thanks to Goya Family for the support they are giving  me!

Based in France Ronald has been  organizing clinics and “the coach” for magazines HOW TO’s. He was recently in Dakhla for a clinic and we are stoked to share it with you!

Clinic Windsurf by Ronald RICHOUX at Dakhla-‐Morocco / May-‐June 2012

In may, Ronald Richoux, Goya windsurfing and Quatro SUP coach, spent two weeks at Dakhla-‐Morocco. First one for the Planchemag’s “how to” photoshooting, and the second one for a windsurfing clinic.
The high winds on the first week were perfect for action shots. Using a goproH2 for “close to action” watershots, testing original angles of view to explain some moves, his wife was also shooting from land for wide angle view. 7 windy days of pure action, riding the Goya One 86 as unique board, and Freesurf 5.3, Eclipse 5.0, Guru 4.7 and Banzai 4.3, regarding the wind!

On the second week, windsurfers joined Ronald to Dakhla for an epic “flat water clinic”. 12 windsurfers from France, Spain and Belgium were stoked to improve and ride beyond their limits. They spent 7 full windy days at Dakhla Attitude center, enjoying this unique lagoon and perfect spots.

Planing, over speed runs, jibes, duck jibes, Carving 360, and even volcanos, the Ronald’s crew have been learning new moves, windsurfing 6 hours per day, and watching their sessions on the daily video debriefing. 3 girls were participating to this clinic, wich is great for windsurfing!!

Great action, friendly discussions, tasty local meals, next “rendez vous” on December in Brazil!
Come and join him!

PWA POZO, OR WHEN RESULT DON’T MATTER

We saw amazing action. Every year you think these guys reach limits, and every year these same limits are broken big time!

PWA POZO 2012

Brawzinho was probably hoping for a better ranking, but as you can see, sometimes it’s not only about the final results… We saw amazing action. Every year you think these guys reach limits, and every year these same limits are broken big time! Windsurfing is in such inspiring, fast pace energy, it’s a dream to be part of it. Get out there and push your own limits.

KEITH TESTING SAILS AT THE GORGE

We thought we’d shoot you all a few photos of Keith Teboul and Jason Diffin at the Gorge, testing some sail ideas we just put together. The conditions were perfect for testing, and the sails were pretty tasty (sorry we won’t reveal any more at this point, hahaha), but what’s most important, it was a great fun day for everyone. Have yours too, go out today, get some water up your nose. Aloha.

P.S. No, Keith is not riding Goya boards. We’d sure wish to add a “yet” to that statement, however.
