Slip Grip™ is a rough surface treatment in the boom area of all Goya Direct Drive™ masts, effectively preventing your boom from sliding up and down.
First, you can reduce the number of masts needed to cover your range of sails, thus reducing the amount of gear to tote around. Second, mixing and matching bend curves allows you to tweak and customize the performance of your rig, a practice often overlooked and underestimated. Third, you will discover that all Goya mast tops and bottoms are interchangeable and share the same grade of pristine quality, made in the USA.

How's life!? Quick email to say how fantastic the 99% masts are. They make the rig feel so much better but at the same time the same:
1) obviously lighter (less swing weight in the top) and lighter is always better.
2) greater wind range, especially top end, but the low end feels way more direct: instant planing
3) in moves we feel they provide more lift: bigger jumps, more air, faster rotations!
4) better control in (freestyle) maneuvers: it's as if the sail is more often in the right place and letting you do what you need to. The rig has less a life of its own so to say.

Question: can these mix and match with the regular masts? Say have a 99% top with a 90% bottom or vice versa?
