A few words about yourself. | After leaving the cold of the UK for the volcanic desert of Cabo Verde I opted for a life involving yoga, work and waves. Outside of that I don’t need much more, a simple life is a good life! |
What makes your ride? | A deep seeded passion and connection to the ocean keeps me going back for more. Every time you are out there it’s a new experience with Mother Nature some days you win and some days you loose, but every session has the magic ability to clear away daily stresses and to refocus on the important things in life. |
How much do you love to windsurf? | Well it always makes me smile and I don’t want any frown wrinkles so lets say A LOT, like Im totally addicted!! |
What is your most memorable session? | Cabo Verde is a pretty special place but I’d say probably an Ali Baba session a couple of years ago. That wave is a magic carpet ride that goes on and on and on!!! |
What inspires you? | The raw power of the ocean and a dream of carving lines across empty wave faces. |
Describe your gear and the conditions you use it in. | Cabo Verde is pretty light off shore winds with glassy waves so I use: Fringe 3.7, 4.0, 4.5. Quatro Pyramid Thruster 69 and 76. A Couple of surf boards 5’6 – 6’2. |
What does riding for Goya mean to you? | If I was to look for the one windsurfing brand with the most stoked and talented riders in the world I would be looking at Goya. The Goya team is a group of incredible athletes and genuine human beings that makes up a friendly, welcoming windsurfing family. To be part of such an amazing and inspirational team is a dream for me and I feel beyond lucky to be a part of this. |
