The Banzai Max has a stable and controlled feel with the lift up and centered.
Main window panel: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant features two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer hand, improved flex and reduced creasing. The UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increases the life of the product in comparison to traditional Monofilm.
Upper window panels: 4 mil high quality Monofilm from Dimension Polyant.
Upper body color panels: 2.5 mil Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus X-PLY ® which are designed for reduced weight while still offering reduced stretch of a traditional X-PLY ® only product.
Foot/Tack panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an upgraded scrim with larger denier fibers, while still keeping the high tenacity aramid X-PLY ®. It has a much greater tear and puncture resistance at the highest impact of pure wave riding.

Its handling characteristic puts the lift slightly higher up and centered compared to the Banzai 11 and Banzai Surf which promotes a more upright but neutral feel. This gives a great drive and low end power but also great control in the high end.
Banzai Max is a moderate aspect outline with a medium length boom, like Banzai 11, compared to Banzai Surf.
The Banzai Max receives a fifth batten for increased stability, yet lives up to the liveliness of the original Banzai concept.
