The Banzai Max has a stable and controlled feel with the lift up and centered.
Generation 1.

Extra control and range in wide ranging conditions, the all new Banzai Max is our 5 batten wave sail. 5 Battens bring increased stability overall and higher top end speeds.
Its handling characteristic puts the lift slightly higher up and centered compared to the Banzai 11 and Banzai Surf which promotes a more upright but neutral feel. This gives a great drive and low end power but also great control in the high end.

Warp Carbon Stretch Control
Massively increases the stability and range of our sails by keeping the low section full, the mid section stable and the top section properly twisting. Resulting in a super light handling sail with a highly comfortable feeling. All new Warp Carbon tendons ensure minimum stretch and crimp, while allowing for lightest and most efficient patching.

EPOXY CNC Battens
Lightweight, CAD shaped, CNC machined, ultra-durable, custom thickness, and tailored taper battens.

Double Stitching
Around the main window, providing torsional strength, increased durability by reinforcing key load zones and blended transitions between different panel materials.

Rip Stop Sleeve
The sleeve material on all our sails is a special weave preventing tears from traveling and holes from widening. Making your sail look and perform better for longer.

Folded Sleeve Edge
Along the rear edges of the mast sleeve, preventing fraying and premature wear and tear.

Tack Fairing
Molded and stitched, this ultra durable tack fairing offers protection for your board and feet, aerodynamics around your extension and a place to store your downhaul rope. Made from abrasion resistant textile, it even protects itself.

Hi Team Quatro! I recently bought a 94l power as my bump and jump lowend weapon to be used in sub average conditions in North West Germany (side-on, onshore small waves; sometimes flat-water with messy chop). Right now my biggest sail is a Banzai Pro 5.3, which gets me going at around 19 knots.
I would like to get a bigger size Banzai Max soon. Do you really think, I can ride the board with a 6.0m Banzai Max or should I go for the 5.7m sail? I appreciate your feedback!
So far the board has been really impressive. Agile but stable at the same time. Thanks! Philip
Response: Aloha Philip,
Thank you for reaching out and for your trust, and stoked on our products. Let me cc my colleague Tom, whom you might know here or might have sailed together.
Your weight will be the only factor that determines whether you can plug a 6.0.
Something else to consider is the mast you combine it with and how light and fast it is. One of the nice features of our masts is their interconnectability across sizes. So on the 5.7, you can plug in the 430 base with a 400 top, making your masts even lighter.
Looking forward to hearing back from you,
Francisco
Dear
I tried the Banzai Max two days ago in Wissant France. The 5.7 size. That was really confortable, not too big; Really happy about the sail for my first try. Just wondering wich mast you reco, the 100% or the 80%.
Thanks
Denis
Response: Hello Denis,
For this size of sail, Banzai max 5,7, I will go with the 100% mast to get better response in the light wind range, unless you have a strong shorebreak/surf where you might need the 80%.
Cheers
Bonne Glisse.
