The Air is the least compromising board in our portfolio. Every incarnation of it is designed with only one purpose in mind, to cater to the latest generation of Freestyle moves.
These boards are purely professional. Used and abused daily by gifted and aspiring talents around the globe. Its short shape and full rail allow for extreme power and rail carving.
“The rocker is borrowed from a race board for utmost early planing while the outline stems from a wave board, which allows the board to be easily popped out of the water. The lightest construction is applied to maximize the above.” says Francisco.
The Air is a radical blend between a race board and a wave board, distilled into a very compact outline, plus a few characters such as the Reverse Sliding Bevel and Double Concave Nose unique to freestyle needs.
The bottom of the Air is carefully tweaked to eliminate any characteristics that may slow you down in the approach to your next move. Elements that would be considered useful or desirable for other disciplines such as waveriding or freeriding have been omitted, resulting in a resolute and determined shape concept.
Furthermore these boards carry around less bulk than any other board in our line to begin with, making their weight of around six and a half kilograms reflect moreso the numbers of boards in the 70 liter range, again staying true to a core Goya credo, less but better.
