A Few Words About Yourself…
I feel very lucky to live on Maui and be able to do what I do. I continue to improve myself and the world around me.
What Makes Your Ride?
It’s the love of the feeling that windsurfing gives. Nothing else compares to it. It truly connects me to nature and everything is happening at that moment without distractions.
How much do you love to windsurf?
I love so much that I try to sail every windy day. If its windy I’m windsurfing!
What is your most memorable session?
Being down in Baja with the whole Goya/Quatro/MFC crew and scoring epic waves and sharing amazing sessions together.
What inspires you?
Part of it is conquering my inner fear, seeing how far I can push it before things explode. Also the sensation of a new move or a different turn keeps the inspiration alive as all of the other talented athletes out there as well.
Describe your quiver and the range of conditions you use it on.
My 4.7 Guru is my bread and butter for Maui. I’m amazed how light and controllable the sail feels. When I’m in the Gorge I use a 3.7 Eclipse which has an amazing range and great for the gusty conditions.
What does riding for Goya mean to you?
I really like the brand because it came out of creative inspiration. The whole crew is great to work with and be friends with as well. It’s almost like a family and we all are passionate with the sport of windsurfing.
