A few words about yourself. Always happy as I get to do what I love – windsurf! I have been windsurfing for over 25 years and still have the same love for this amazing sport since the first day I stepped on a board.
What makes your ride? The joy of being on the water with your mates traveling around the world taking me to places where I would never go before and meeting so many great people on the way.
How much do you love to windsurf? I have dedicated over half my life to windsurfing, so there’s a lot of love.
What is your most memorable session? West coast of Australia over mast high drop in, best rush of my life. That is something which I will never forget.
What inspires you? I wake up every morning feeling lucky knowing that I can windsurf everyday and I’m not doing a 9 to 5 office job in the city! When I coach I love seeing people buzzing about windsurfing which inspires me even more.
Describe your gear and the conditions you use it in. The Quad Custom is the board for me as the range covers it all from mast high down the line in Cornwall to the cross on ramps of the Canaries. The board I love the most is the Custom 86 and I have a Custom 106 for the lighter days. For sails, the Banzai is my go-to sail of choice, the whole range. I would say my favourite combo is my 4.7 Banzai and Custom 86.
What does riding for Goya mean to you? For me, to be apart of the most respected team in world is like a dream come true. I am really happy to be apart of it! I always followed the founders from a young age and now to be riding for them is incredible.
