A few words about yourself…
I have been windsurfing since I was 13 and have never stopped enjoying it, I am currently out working in the Offical Test Centre in Tenerife and loving every minute of it.
What makes your ride?
I love the feeling when you go out and land a new trick in front of your friends or just messing around having a good time the spirit of the sport is what keeps me riding.
How much do you love to windsurf?
How much do you love beer?
What is your most memorable session?
It started off with a surf in the morning then the wind picked up to just enough to wobble out on a 4.1 and head high south swell with wind from the right. It is really rare we get wind and waves from this direction but this day was truly amazing with only 4 other people out all morning. The sail was working amazing and on the best waves you could get 6-7 turns on them couldn’t ask for much more.
What inspires you?
Seeing everyone having fun in the sport and it always progressing forward.
Describe your quiver and the range of conditions you use it on.
I use the Eclipse wave sails with 3.4, 3.7, 4.1 and 4.7. The normal conditions I sail in are cross onshore and windy so wave riding is not prefect but the jumping is second to none. I also travel around the UK a lot when I am back home sailing in every kind of conditions from 1-2 foot onshore to 10 foot cross off and charging.
What does riding for Goya mean to you?
Goya has always been my idol while I was growing up windsurfing, I love his style and the way he sails and his attitude towards the sport. So it is great to be on a team where you can experience this and also have the likes of Levi Siver and all the guys in Maui bringing out new concepts like the eclipse and pushing this sport to new levels.
