A few words about yourself. I started windsurfing on Maui in early 2016, and have been hooked ever since! 2019 will be my 3rd season working at SoloSports in Punta San Carlos and I feel extremely lucky to be able to sail in those fun conditions for 7 months each year. In the off season you can find me, my husband and fellow Goya rider, Joey, and our dog Solo, traveling around and California chasing snow. We also love to travel to Maui to be with our family and friends.
What makes your ride? There is no other feeling in the world that compares to riding that perfect wave.
What is your most memorable session? My favorite session was the women’s final in the Baja Desert Showdown in 2018. I placed second, but what was most memorable was that I has FUN and was able to relax and just sail my best.
What inspires you? Other women windsurfers!!! I love seeing the girls rip it up, and learn from their unique styles. It fires me up to keep learning and pushing myself.
Describe your gear and the conditions you use it in. I ride a 68 ltr Goya Quad Custom with a 4 baton Ezzy Elite. I mainly sail in Baja and this setup allows me to be fast but in control for sailing those long down the line waves.
What does riding for Goya mean to you? It is a dream come true or me. I’m super excited to be apart of this close team of inspiring athletes.
