Mark

Freakishly fast.

Velocity

Mark Pro
Freerace 6 Batten

Speed racing made simple. The new Mark is a quick to rig and easy to tune camber-less freerace sail that delivers breathtaking velocity on the water.

With impressive low end torque and acceleration combined with easy handling when super powered, the Mark allows you to focus on your line and tactics rather than managing your sail.

Super lightweight 6 batten build plus truncated boom lengths give the Mark a compact, light, easy feeling as you accelerate, when you are powered up and through high speed technical transitions. The Mark pairs with Freeride, Freerace, Slalom and Race boards and matches best with the Bolt Freerace.

Recommended freerace mast 99 Pro.
Optional flatwater mast 70 Pro.

Available in 5.4, 5.8, 6.2, 6.6, 7.2, 7.8, 8.5 square meters.

Available in yellow.

Recess

The shorter boom.

The Mark has a recessed clew ring, allowing to use shorter and thus lighter booms even on bigger sails.

Construction

Pro Scrim & Monofilm

The Scrim material used in the main panels offers super strong durability, super light weight and a supple and alive feel. X-Ply luff panels, stiff and light tubular battens, CSC™ Carbon Stretch Control, TCR™ Titanium Clew Ring, RSS™ Rip Stop Sleeve and the MTF™ Molded Tack Fairing round off the peak quality package. Sleeve cut treatments as well as tack and foot reinforcements are now folded to increase durability and prevent edge fraying.

A scalloped upper leech reinforcement prevents breakdown of the leech from fluttering in strong wind conditions such as Omaezaki, the Gorge and Pozo. The Mark comes with a 5mil Monofilm window, offering crystal clear optics, light weight and a crisp direct feel.

Rip Stop

The Goya sleeve.

Mandatory on any quality wave sail, but a nice feature at no added weight on flatwater sails alike.

We take pride in the workers who make Goya sails come to life, and we admire their level of fit and finish.

Dear Goya,

Thank you so much for donating a brand new Goya Mark 7.2 sail! Given your help, we were able to raise over $4,000 for our kids program! This money will provide children in the Gorge with new gear, easy storage and access, and dedicated coaching to advance their skills to provide continued access for the kids.

With an estimated 3,000 people in attendance throughout the weekend, Beach Bash was a huge success! Friday night, people were on their feet and dancing as Dirty Revival rocked the Waterfront Park. The concert attracted many around the area and we were able to raise even more money through generous donations, food and drinks from our vendors.

Saturday and Sunday we moved to the Event Site to enjoy local bands, The Ultronz and Soul Profit, more food vendors, and of course demos out on the water. Families were able to interact with paddle boarding, windsurfing and foil demos. American Windsurfing Tour entertained spectators watching the competitions and those who participated throughout the weekend. CGWA also gained 44 new members, and are excited to add them to the team!

Thank YOU for helping make this weekend possible for everyone! We couldn’t of done this without your generous donation of the Season Ski Pass and your sponsorship of the event.

Sincerely,
CGWA

Try this dream kit (Goya Mark + Bolt) and you’ll end up listing yourself too on your first ever downwind slalom competition, no doubt there. This combo is extremely easy to handle, quick around the marks and speedy enough to create some disturbance : )

Had some great sessions at Lago di Garda - Itlay with my fabulous gear (Carrera 116 and Mark 7.2). It is a perfect combination for easy riding and speed. The Mark is fast and provides a super easy handling. The 8.5 works also very well with the Carrera 144. Needs some fine tuning in setup, but then it is a great feeling to speed the lake.
