Jason Diffin: “The 2011 STORM is the sail for kid’s high performance windsurfing. The STORM design is based on the GURU concept- flexible and easy control along with a forward driving power delivery. For 2011 the STORM is significantly lighter, improving the overall
handling characteristics of the sail to make as the Storm easy to ride as possible.”
Construction
The Storm uses the new Goya unique Scrim, a super light alternative to regular materials, in extensive areas of the sails surface. Areas prone to more wear are featured in X-Ply. The perimeter of the sail is reinforced with Kevlar yarns.

Bjoern Zedlick: “Doing the Storm is a great challenge every season, because we want to implement as much of the Guru’s look and features as possible into this napkin full of technology. This year, I can’t even tell you what it is we skipped. Probably less than we should have from the marketing point of view, hihi. Makes me wish I was born in 1998.”
