The One PRO 72 and 78 liter models feature generous carbon patching from in front of the mast track all the way into the tail, as well as beneath and around the padded areas.
AS IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH, THE 72, 78 AND 86 MODELS NOW COME AS THRUSTERS, GIVING YOU MORE CONTROL IN SURFING TURNS WHILE MAINTAINING THE FORWARD DRIVE OF A SINGLE FIN DESIGN. THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.
The One 72 has a concave into double concave shape for added control and grip. The One 78 offers more lift and power and therefore transitions from a V into a double Concave. All succeeding boards carry a V bottom with double concaves through the stance. V bottoms are the fastests bottoms, and the double concave accentuate the centerline, softening the ride and making it more comfortable while adding crispy grip and drive to the turns.
The smaller sizes 72, 78 and 86 feature a center US Box compatible with all wave fin designs and the larger sizes 94, 104, 116, 130 and 144 feature a Power Box for increased speed, strength and compatibility with larger fins.

This fin offers a new concept in fin design developed by MFC and Francisco Goya. The material chosen is G-10. The fins are CNC designed and machined by a high precision milling machine. The profile is an evolution of the 2008 model with the maximum draft position moved to 38% due to a thickness increase. In fact this year we had to increase the profile thickness by 0.7mm to allow the G-10 to work in the best way for the best performances in wave riding maneuvers, early planning and upwind performance. This particular model has a unique and distinguished concept where in the bigger sizes the fin becomes straighter in the outline and rake and faster in the profile.

On the One 72 (Concave & Doule Concave) I run the deepest section of the Concave and Double Concaves through the stance diminishing to the tail and mast track.
On the One 78-104 (Vee & Double Concave) I run the deepest section of the Double Concaves through the stance diminishing to the tail and mast track. Vee max is always at the back strap for added release speed, which is raceboard practice.
On the One 78-144 the Vee runs the deepest by the back strap and gets reduced towards the nose and tail.
On the One 116 – 144 I run the deepest section of the double concave through the front of the mast track for various reasons, on the performance level they brake the chop/soften the ride while bringing air (reduce wet area) to the the bottom below the mast track and front straps and I reduce them through the tail to bring more crispiness and power to the tail area that is what you would want when riding on light winds or larger sails, which is also raceboard practice.
On the structural side, all concaves and double concaves through the bending of the glass add longitudonal strength and integrity to the rocker line without increasing weight.
